Mission Statement
The Alberta Real Estate Foundation supports and originates initiatives that enhance the real estate industry and benefit the people of Alberta.
Foundation’s Vision
To be instrumental in building and leading an agile, adept and respected real estate industry in Alberta that values continuous learning, informed consumers and community service.
The Foundation is guided by Board of Governors that meet two times each year. Their role, as stewards of the Foundation’s mission, includes representing the well-being of the industry and community through the Foundation’s grant program and the overall strategic direction and values of the Foundation.
Revenue for the Foundation is accumulated from the interest earned on public money deposited in real estate Brokers’ pooled trust accounts.

As required by legislation, the Foundation uses these funds to:
- Promote and undertake the education of related professionals and the public in respect of the real estate industry.

- Reform laws and conduct research with respect to the real estate industry.

- Other projects and activities that advance and improve the real estate industry.
