Welcoming a New Governor to the Board

A fresh face at the foundation in 2012 as Ron Esch, former CEO of the Calgary Real Estate Board joins the Board of Governors.

January 2012 - The Alberta Real Estate Foundation announces the appointment of Ron Esch of Calgary to its Board of Governors on behalf of the Alberta Real Estate Association.

Mr. Esch began his career as a REALTOR® for 15 years. After which, he joined the Edmonton Real Estate Board as the Member Services Administrator. In Summer of 1984 Mr. Esch moved to Calgary to serve as Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held for 25 years. 

Mr. Esch is an honourary member of the Alberta Real Estate Association, as well as the Calgary and Edmonton Real Estate Boards.

The Alberta Real Estate Foundation is excited to bring the wisdom and experience of Mr. Esch to the board and looks forward to the continued contribution he will bring in the coming years.

 As the New Year begins, the foundation also would like to thank Tim Walsh, a past Chair and excellent Board member, as he finishes his last term with the foundation. Tim's contribution over the years to the board as been truly priceless. From the staff and board we wish Tim the best of luck in his future endeavors.
