2026 ASVA's 68th Annual Conference & AGM

The Alberta Summer Village Association's 68th Annual Conference will bring together elected officials, administrators, industry professionals, and service providers to explore the issues shaping Alberta's summer villages and lake communities. Under the theme "Connecting Communities & Creating Futures," the conference will provide opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and discuss best practices in local governance, land use planning, infrastructure, and community development.

The event will feature educational sessions, networking opportunities, and a trade show showcasing products and services that support municipalities. By bringing together leaders from across Alberta, the conference will help build capacity, encourage collaboration, and support informed decision-making for the long-term sustainability of summer village communities.

Association of Summer Villages of Alberta

The Association of Summer Villages of Alberta (ASVA) was formed as a not for profit association to provide a common forum for all Summer Villages in the Province of Alberta. ASVA represents the interests of its members in dealings with the provincial government as well as those between ASVA and other organizations. ASVA also undertakes special initiatives such as the Lake Stewardship Guide to aasist its members in dealing with some of the challenges facing Alberta's lake communities.
