AiLA Attendance at Prairies Affordable Housing Summit

Building Knowledge to Support Inclusive Housing Solutions

The Autism Independent Living Association (AiLA) is sending five board members to the Housing Forward: 2026 Prairies Affordable Housing Summit to strengthen its knowledge and capacity as it advances autism-focused affordable housing in Alberta.

The summit will bring together housing providers, developers, planners, policymakers, funders, and community leaders to explore innovative approaches to affordable housing, housing policy, planning, health, homelessness, and Indigenous-led housing solutions. By participating in these discussions, AiLA's board members will gain practical insights, build relationships with sector leaders, and learn about emerging models that can inform the organization's long-term housing initiatives.

The knowledge gained will help support the development of inclusive, affordable housing with wrap-around supports for autistic Albertans, strengthening AiLA's ability to contribute to Alberta's evolving housing landscape.
