Housing Is a Human Right: Celebrating 40 Years of ECOHH
Celebrating 40 Years of Housing Leadership and Collaboration
The Edmonton Coalition on Housing and Homelessness (ECOHH) is celebrating 40 years of bringing together organizations, advocates, and community partners to advance solutions to housing and homelessness in Alberta. The anniversary project includes a public event in Edmonton and the development of a historical resource documenting the evolution of housing insecurity and the community's response over the past four decades.
By capturing key milestones, lessons learned, and the collaborative efforts that have shaped Edmonton's housing sector, the project will preserve valuable knowledge and encourage continued dialogue on addressing housing challenges. The initiative will provide a lasting resource for housing professionals, policymakers, researchers, and community organizations working to create more stable and inclusive communities.
