Place-making in a Growing Economy
“Place-making,” or the optimization of place, can increase a community’s economic competitiveness, attract skilled labour and enhance quality of life. We propose two issues of Curb Magazine dedicated to exploring the prospects for, and barriers to, place-making in a growing Alberta. The objective of this project is to provide stakeholders and community leaders with the knowledge and capacity necessary to inform best “place-making’ practices in Alberta and translate these ideas into successful action.
