Using an innovation design/planning lens, this research focuses on adaptability, affordability and efficiency to achieve high quality of life and access to market rental, ownership and non-market housing that is affordable, adequate, and resilient. The research is structured around innovative examples/prototypes that serve as case studies. The evidence-based research informs actionable recommendations for planning, design and policy changes to accelerate transformation in Calgary.
